- Expansion valve
Systems that take advantage of this cycle use special chemicals that are used to absorb refrigerant (water in some systems) and/or to cool the heat or to release any air.
When these chemicals are compressed by the compressor of the AC unit, the refrigerant changes from gas to liquid and releases heat into the condenser.

The Working Principle Of An AC system called a refrigerant cycle. This cycle has four major components of all air conditioning systems. These components and their basic functions are listed below.
A compressor is a device that increases the gas pressure and also increases the temperature by increasing the molecular motion of its particles.
The compressor gets cold refrigerant gas by evaporation and releases very hot and pressurized gas into the condenser. The purpose of the compressor is to ensure that the heat received from the inside is well activated before it spreads to the atmosphere from the surroundings.
Last Line: The refrigerant is drawn from the evaporator and pumped into the condenser by the compressor. The compressor also pressurizes the refrigerant vapor so that it easily changes the state (condensing).

The purpose of the condenser is to obtain high-pressure gas from the compressor and convert this gas into a liquid.
This is achieved by heat transfer or thermodynamic theory that heat usually moves from a warmer place to a colder place or from a warmer material to a cooler material.
However, the air passing through the condenser coil carries the heat away, condensing the gas. It is essential to quickly note that the condenser typically looks like the one found in the engine radiator.

3. Expansion Valve

As a result, there is also a decrease in the temperature of the fluid. This drop in temperature leads the fluid to a position in which it initially enters evaporation. The process of expansion can also be referred to as a throttling process in a thermodynamic cycle.
This is because its main purpose is to reduce the pressure of the fluid. Apart from these four basic parts of air-conditioners, there are many other parts which are important in making the system effective and efficient. Thermostats, high side, and low side ports as well as metal hoses all ensure that there is proper flow of fluid as well as temperature regulation.

4. Evaporator – Last Process Of Air Conditioner Working Principle
The evaporator is the fourth in AC Working Principle Under its name, evaporation occurs, where the refrigerant fluid evaporates. The evaporator is located in the internal unit. It constitutes mostly tubular pipes that are wound to multiple layers. These tubes serve as a passage for very cold refrigerant liquid.
Its essence is to absorb the heat (the latent heat of evaporation) from inside which vaporizes this liquid into a very cool gas. The evaporator does not necessarily increase the temperature of the refrigerant but it definitely changes its phase (liquid to gas).
By doing this the evaporator performs two functions. First, it cools the atmosphere of the interior by removing heat.
And secondly, since the temperature of the refrigerant is well below the freezing point of water, this means that the water vapor in the atmosphere loses thermal energy and transforms its phase into liquid and then solid ice which is a white coating. Evaporator tube as it appears.
This function reduces relative humidity and therefore produces a drier environment inside. The evaporator receives its cold refrigerant liquid from a suction port that is connected to the expansion valve and delivers cold gas to the compressor in the external unit.
Behind the evaporator is a fan or blower that increases the kinetic energy of the air around the evaporator, this ensures convection heat transfer so as to speed up the purpose of air-conditioning.
